Seriously. So, I was busy decking the halls on our front porch as our kids did their chores when Angelia comes out and says "Mommy, I have an owie. and it's bweeding." I told her to go wipe the blood off with a tissue and that I'd look at it later.
When I came inside a few minutes later. I gave it a good checking out...after washing it. I asked her "What happened?" She paused and then I immediately recognized the parallel track marks for what they are and restated my question. "Before for you say anything, Angelia I know what you did...but how did it happen?"
She proceeded to tell me "first I got soap on my hands and then rubbed them together like this and then patted my face and then..." I was laughing so hard I couldn't even breathe. What a fun little adventure. Now, Daniel shaves in the shower...and is modest to a fault...so how did my daughter know how to shave? Good ol' tv I'm sure!

Daniel? Modest to a fault? :)
ReplyDeleteI'm sure if we asked him, he'd say there's no such thing.
Hope her cute little face heals up quick!
Did you also explain that girls don't have to shave their face? Just their armpits! And legs if they must! Having never shaved my legs I think it is an odd habit, but I have fuzz on my legs!
ReplyDeleteHope she is OK!

ReplyDeleteI personally will have to start shaving my face in a few years. I already have chin whiskers like my mother. What's up with that? I've heard it's a hormone thing. My answer is no crud!
