Life Just Flies By

Wow...where have the past few months gone?  We have had a blast together as a family.  We were blessed to have Mom & Dad Grove as well as Rhonda, Karie & Britton join us in our Christmas celebrations from Thursday the 23rd until Monday the 27th!  It was a good time for all, full of games, a 1000 piece puzzle, cooking, eating, opening gifts, sharing ourselves with each other, etc.

For Christmas our family received a gift to Great Wolf Lodge from Santa.  What a fun place!!!  There are many, many water slides, a wave pool, a kiddie playland, an intermediate kids playland , a swim area, all indoors and kept at a warm 84 degrees.  It was way, way fun!  Our family will definitely go back! 

Well, the kids are back in school.  I am finding myself catching up on housework, laundry, etc.  I don't know how everyday work can keep one so busy but it does. 

Today I have worked out for 45 minutes, walked my kids to school (2 miles round trip), washed 5 loads of laundry, cleaned the kitchen, showered, watched my niece Makenzy, reconciled my spending so far for January (which Daniel will appreciate)...learned I have spent 75% of my monthly allowance and today is only the 10th!  Yikes.  I have read emails, and even made a post.  Look at me go!  It is good to be productive.  Later today I will watch my friends 3 boys, hopefully clean my room and of course watch the Ducks play Auburn!  Go Ducks!!!  I sure do love college football.
