I love having older kids. I LOVE, LOVE, LOVE, LOVE it!!! I love babies...but I really love holding sleeping newborns. But they grow...and get squirmy and cry for no reason that can be determined! I love pre-schoolers and older. They are so fun and absorb so much!
My Deonna read me a book this morning. Wow...literacy is so amazing. Robel is also learning to read and is improving everyday. Amazing what a promised Play Station & perhaps the 4th grade with his church buddies will do for a kids determination to read! It is tough but it is so rewarding. He is really picking up on sounding out words, breaking them down into smaller parts, etc. Yay for perserverance!!!
Here are some then and now photos of my kids. Enjoy!

ReplyDeleteI love love love having older kids too except when they show their occasional sassy teenager side. : )
Going to the zoo with you and your freak stroller was always a delight. We had to stop all the time so people could ask you where you got it. :)

You SANG "Through the Years" over and over again. Admit it. I know you Sister!
