Robel really enjoys scouts and being with boys his own age.
Robel is a typical 9 year old boy and doesn't love kisses so much. Therefore we all tease him with them. Go Mom Go!
The Track!
Robel's Fan Club.
Yay...victory cake!
On Saturday we celebrated "Easter Bunny Day" at my Mom's house. This is an annual event typically held on the Saturday before Easter but since our family will be in Idaho and Utah we decided to get together this past Saturday.
It was a lovely day and the kids had a ton of fun. It was fun for Robel as his first Easter Egg Hunt ever. He was so funny. He picked up all the real eggs and shook and dropped the plastic candy bearing eggs. As Todd put it...every Easter Egg Hunt needs a Robel. Someone who loves the real eggs and doesn't care for the candy so much.
We believe in being safe no matter what sport you are playing.
Go Mikey Go.
He may have never done this but he loves the thrill of a race.
Miss Sweety.
Can you say "Nasty". Gotta love Laffy Taffy.
Angelia got the golden egg and $1 was inside.
Oops...can't figure out how to flip.
Happy camper!
I have a busy couple days ahead of me...tomorrow I work at 5:30am and then it is laundry, laundry, laundry with intermittant cleaning all day. I will have Jayden, Bryten & Makenzy for 5-6 hours as well.
Then Tuesday after I am done working at 8am we are heading north to the Seattle area to spend time with Dave & Kelly Walker and their family for a few hours. We met Dave & Kelly last summer in Ethiopia. They adopted two children from the same agency/orphanage we adopted Robel. Robel and their son Yawkal were very good friends. Robel has asked about them lately so being Spring Break I thought we should fit them in!
On Wednesday I will be packing, packing, packing and finishing the housework. I love to leave my house clean and come home to no awaiting chores...I hope to be successful in my attempts. Susie is spending the day with me too to help me out! Yay!
Then when Daniel gets off work on Wednesday we are heading East until we are too tired to go on and then we will stop for the night. Thursday we hope to arrive to David & Marcy's around noon or so...
Well just typing it out made me tired. Looks like a long week to me!

Family time is awesome! Daniel will have some awesome experiences, I'm sure.
ReplyDeleteDo have a fun week, and good luck with your chores list!
