Spring Break on the Wasatch Front

This year is the first year we have kids in school.  So it is fun that not only do we get to have 1 week off with them but an additional week also!

Sometime before we leave for the Wasatch front our family will be traveling to the Seattle area to meet up with our new friends that we met in Ethiopia last summer when they adopted their two new kiddos Yawkal age 11(now Jason) and Adsete age 7 (now Abbie).  Robel has asked about Yawkal over and over again and we are so close and we both are able to make time to meet up so that will be fun.  We just love Dave & Kelly...they are such good people.  We are looking forward to our visit.

We leave for Pocatello, Idaho on March 31st staying in a hotel somewhere between here and there.  Then arrive on April 1st at David & Marcy's house.  Robel has never met Uncle David and Aunt Marcy and their 4 kids.  Robel is super excited to meet Alex as he really wants to be named Alex...and the fact that he is tall...make Robel extra excited to be "Alex".  We will stay for a couple days and then we are off to stay in Kevin & Kelly's bed & breakfast.  Robel met Uncle Kevin in December but has not met Aunt Kelly and all of their 7 children.  Their son Teddy is also from Ethiopia...so Robel is pretty excited.

We will spend Easter with Andy & Bethany and also Monday too...these are my brothers days off.  Robel is thrilled for older boys to play with...bring on the gaming systems!  Then we will spend Tuesday and Wednesday with Kevin and Kelly.

On Thursday morning we are off to Holly & Darin's house.  Robel LOVES his Aunt Holly!  "She is crazy and lots of fun" he says.  I agree.

We will be able to witness one of Daniel's Young Men be married for time and all eternity on April 10th in the Manti Temple.  We are so excited for John & Nycole!

Then on April 11th we are off for home!  We are so excited to have the time and means to go visiting!  The kids are so excited and ask me how much longer till we go!  So, now I have added a countdown to our blog.  Enjoy.
