We are HOME!

I don't have a ton of time this morning with unpacking and chasing a puppy around and all so I will make this a recap of a fabulous vacation.

Robel bonded instantly with his cousin Zachary on our first few days at David & Marcy's.  It snowed and snowed while we were there.  It was fun to watch and great to play in according to the kids.  Robel loved meeting all of his cousins.  Ben has been growing like crazy.  Alex is taller than my dad and Gabby is so sweet to share here room with us.  Robel wanted to stay with Zach and Marcy and I decided we'll need to get the boys together this summer for camp or just to visit.  It was hard to leave but we had 3 more families to visit.

Our next stop took us to Bethany & Andy's for Easter.  We had a blast hunting eggs, throwing eggs and having fun together.  It took Cameron and Robel a full day to really bond but as we left to stay at Kevin & Kelly's for the night we could not seperate them so Robel stayed the night!  Yay.  Ethan was a great friend to Deonna and I cannot get enough of Drew and his sweetness.  What a love...Bethany I have no idea what you mean about him!  Mr Trent never did warm all the way up to me.  I am loud and I LOVE to scare little ones which he does not like so much.  On Wednesday we went to Temple Square in Salt Lake City and saw the temple, the Joseph Smith movie, went to the top of the LDS business offices and saw the prophet!  I will make a blog just with the details there.  For now I will leave you hanging.

Tuesday and Wednesday we stayed with Kevin & Kelly and went to the Children's Museum at the Gateway in SLC and then went swimming on Wednesday.  My Robel did not leave Maya's side for those two full days.  I have to say she is a keeper but she is a cousin!  All of the kids were so awesome to our kids sharing all of their toys, food and fun!  I just love Clarissa and cannot believe how big she is getting.  She is progressing SO WELL!  I have to learn lots and lots of signs so I can talk to her better next time we visit.  She is doing so well signing and expressing herself.  Zachary played so well with Maya and Robel.  Emmanuel, Naomi & Allison had fun with Deonna & Angelia and Michael had fun with Teddy.  You are never alone or bored at the Kevin Grove home!  We enjoyed staying in their guest house.  We will certainly stay at their bed & breakfast again and hopefully often!  :)

Our last stop was Holly & Darin's.  There we met our new puppy, DUSTY!  He is a sweet, naughty, loving, good, smart puppy.  It is like having an infant again.  Only he doesn't stay still.  Holly was glad to be Auntie and not mommy anymore.  We played and played and played till we are all so tired.  Rosalie and Robel helped us alot with Dusty.  Ty & Angelia are an item and Deonna and Ty are also.  Hey, girls..they are COUSINS!  Michael and Rashad played nicely and mostly were off doing their own thing.

On Saturday Daniel and I traveled to Manti to attend a wedding.  It was so very special.  Ed J. Pinegar was the sealer for John & Nycole.  His counsel was awesome.  He reminded us to be selfless as husband and wife and to serve one another.  It was so fun to be at the sealing for one of Daniel's young men.  A worthy man who has served his mission honorably and then married as God would have us in His holy house.  The Manti temple was awesome...like a castle.  We got to go to the highest room up the spiral stair case.

We had to leave on Sunday (yesterday).  It was so sad to leave everyone but so nice to be home!  Thank you everyone who hosted us and served us.  You are loved and appreciated!
