Is it really summer vacation???

Oh my goodness...we have had SO MUCH rain!!!  It feels more like a winter break than a summer break.

My male dog is a PRINCESS...he will not go outside on the wet grass to pee.  This is of course, frustrating.  I am almost thinking he has a UTI with how he can hold it, hold it, dribble, hold it, dribble, hold it...  Today I have put him in is pen out in the middle of the grass...he will have to learn to live in the wet grass today and actually go pee and then I'll let him inside...  I am getting a little device that will emit a high pitched sound inaudible to humans to keep his barking at bay...hope it works!  I don't really want to go with a shock collar especially since he is so young.

This is our first summer with school aged kids so after convincing Daniel...we bought them a "happy summer gift"...a TRAMPOLINE!!!  Yay!!!  They LOVE, LOVE, LOVE it!!!  I don't think the sun has shone on it yet and we put it together Monday night but the fun is still there.  The kids have to change their clothes a few times a day but it is all good!  Good exercise, good and tired for bedtime, a fun thing to do!  Even I get on there and bounce...the kids love it.  They keep begging me...I have to make up reasons to get off so that I can catch my breath and get my landlegs back!

Well today is our first day of our summer school program.  My friend Kelli and I are going to have school 1-2 hours every morning to keep our kids' brains retaining and learning throughout the summer.  I will have THREE full timers next year in school.

Robel - 3rd grade (we will work hard to catch him up to a end of 2nd beginning 3rd grade level)
Deonna - 1st grade (she is a great little student!  She is going into a 1st/2nd grade split class...that should keep her from getting board.  Preschool was good for her!!!  Yay!
Angelia - All day everyday Kindergarten!  This one is hard to believe...she is just so little.  But can I say YAHOO!!!
Michael will go 3 days a week to a pre-K class.  He is smart as a whip...He's known his ABC's & counting to 10 since he was 2 1/2 years old!!!

Well off to shower and then off to summer school!

:)

  1. Sounds like you're staying busy! I jumped on a trampoline a couple weeks ago and learned that my bladder control is not what it used to be. Wow.
